Feb. 28, 2025 – North Carolina Senator Julie Mayfield visited the downtown Asheville office of The Family Health Centers for a tour of the clinic and to discuss her goals for healthcare in Buncombe County. As a member of the NC General Assembly, Senator Mayfield advocates for improvements to primary care services, including payment reform, maternal health, prior authorization legislation, and other healthcare-related issues such as legislation against corporate consolidation. Thanks for your visit Senator Mayfield!
