We support our clients no matter how parents choose to give birth or parent their children. We give the

highest quality information and allow parents the spaciousness to make the decisions that are right for their family. We normalize what parents are going through and provide hands-on, empathetic, compassionate care.

💤 Newborn Tip: Why Babies Sleep Better When Being Held

One of the biggest surprises for new parents is realizing newborns don’t really understand they’re separate from you yet. 👶💛

Your baby spent months:
✨constantly warm
✨hearing your heartbeat
✨being gently rocked
✨never hungry
✨never alone

So when they suddenly arrive in a bright, quiet world and only sleep while touching you… that’s not “bad habits.” That’s biology.

Contact naps, cluster feeding, wanting to be held 24/7, and waking the second you sit down are all incredibly normal in the newborn stage. Babies are built for connection before independence.

✨ Homegrown Families Tip: Instead of trying to force a strict schedule early on, focus on creating a predictable order of events. For example: feed → diaper → cuddle → sleep. Babies may not understand clocks yet, but they do learn patterns and routines over time.

That doesn’t mean you have to love every second of it or never put your baby down but it does mean you’re probably not doing anything wrong.

The newborn phase isn’t about creating perfect routines. It’s about helping both you and your baby adjust to a brand new world. 💕

On International Family Day, we celebrate all the ways family shows up!
The ones you’re born into, the ones you build, and the ones that carry you through the hardest seasons. However your family looks… it counts. 💜 but let’s be honest…

Family is:
snacks every 20 minutes 🍎
someone always touching you 😅
big feelings in tiny humans
and love so intense it wrecks you in the best way

It’s not always peaceful or picture-perfect
but it’s yours. And that’s enough. 💜

📅Due dates are fake! Due dates are a suggestion, not a deadline.

Your baby didn’t read your calendar.
We treat due dates like expiration dates and it creates SO much unnecessary stress.

Your body isn’t failing. Your baby isn’t late.
They’re just not on our timeline.

✨ You deserve support not pressure at the end of pregnancy.

Drop your baby’s “due date vs actual birth date” 👇

Mother’s Day isn’t just about flowers 💐

It’s about the mental tabs that never close 🧠
The grocery lists that live in your head 📝
The doctor’s appointments, the size changes, the snack preferences, the sleep regressions 😵‍💫

It’s about being the default.
The one who notices 👀
The one who remembers 💭
The one who plans three steps ahead so everything looks effortless ✨

And in so many relationships, that labor?
It’s invisible 👻
Not because it doesn’t exist but because it’s expected.

Motherhood can quietly shift dynamics.
One person becomes the project manager of an entire life 📋
while the other “helps.”

But you were never meant to carry it all.

So today isn’t just about celebrating moms, it’s about seeing them ❤️

Seeing the mental load 🧠
The emotional labor 💔
The constant awareness ⚡

And if you love a mom, don’t just thank her.

Lighten the load 🤝
Take initiative 🔁
Notice without being asked 👀
Show up without being managed 🚫📝

Because the most meaningful gift isn’t a break for one day 🎁
it’s a partnership that actually feels like one.

Happy Mother’s Day to the ones holding it all together…
even when no one else realizes how much that actually is 💛

✨ Postpartum Revival Testimony ✨

“I came into Postpartum Revival feeling overwhelmed, touched out, and honestly a little lost in myself. Each week gave me space to breathe, process, and feel like a human again. I learned practical tools, but more than that, I felt seen and found friends that understand me. I wish every mom had this kind of support." -Rebecca M

✨You deserve support in your postpartum—not just survival.✨

Our Postpartum Revival 4-Week Series is designed to help you:
✨ Reconnect with yourself
✨ Process your birth + postpartum experience
✨ Build realistic routines (not perfection)
✨ Learn tools for mental + emotional wellbeing
✨ Feel less alone in this season

Because postpartum isn’t something you’re meant to just “get through.”

💛 You’re allowed to need care too.

Spots are limited—join us for this powerful 4-week reset!

I became a mom at 25 and thought the hardest part would be pregnancy and birth.
I was wrong!🤦‍♀️

Postpartum was the part no one really prepared me for.

I really believed I’d just know what to do
I had worked with babies for years as a teacher, nanny, and a degree in child development.

But nothing prepares you for the emotional weight of being someone’s everything 24/7.

The exhaustion.
The constant second guessing.
The identity shift.
That loving my baby and struggling could exist at the same time.
And the quiet thought of “Why does this feel harder than I expected?”

Because society sells motherhood as instinctual and effortless.
But it’s learned. It’s messy. It’s overwhelming.

So if you’re in that season right now, you’re not doing it wrong. It’s because this is actually hard.

Newborns aren’t wired for the clock ⏰ their needs aren’t predictable enough yet for a true “schedule.” But what they can start to understand is the order of events.

Instead of focusing on what time things happen, focus on what happens next.

💡Try a simple flow like:
Feed → Change → Awake time → Sleep → Repeat

Over time, your baby starts to recognize this pattern, which builds a sense of safety and predictability without the pressure of a strict schedule.

Ways to create a routine without the clock:
🌿 Follow cues, not times (rooting, yawning, fussiness)
🛁 Anchor your day with 1–2 consistent moments (like a bedtime routine)
🕯️ Keep the order the same, even if the timing shifts
👶 Let feeds lead the rhythm while everything else falls around it
💜 Give yourself flexibility as some days will feel totally different

This is less about control and more about connection + responsiveness.
A rhythm that bends will serve you (and your baby) so much better than a schedule that breaks.

🗓 Upcoming Classes:
• May 19th — at our office
• May 26th — at the birth center
