Hey Asheville! I’m still here and we are still doing this thing.

Pilates, acupuncture, all the movement, all the care. Yes it is different. It’s just me in here in the Clasique studio and booking y’all through CoreSelf]] now.

AND you know what… I’m chiseling, WE are chiseling 🥰

Back in early 2020 I already had CoreSelf rolling as Pilates videos on demand. Then 💥boom💥 we all had to adapt and so I started teaching zoom classes to serve online. And now I’m honestly super thrilled to be doing both at the same time. Every week I teach 5 group classes to an online-all-time zones-international group of amazing people (you know who you are 😉). And now for ALL of those group classes you are invited to come IN the studio and join too.

All the booking and scheduling is through CoreSelf]] now. Because CoreSelf will travel with me once the building here sells and I kick myself out 🙃.

So right now, it’s on.

It’s the last official day in here.

Just taught live mat class online and loved it. (Towel love… IYKYK 😂)

Chair class soon 🤩. With people joining in studio and online. Irrum and Stacy are teaching their last clients in here now. 🥰

It’s pretty tender really. As much as I know it’s right, it’s time, it’s true… there’s so much to feel because it has all meant so much. I’m finding all the lessons of non-attachment pretty rich. And also the endings ARE beginnings feels so on point too.

Mostly filled with gratitude for every memory made, staff person who has devoted herself here, clients who showed up so fully for so many years, and what we have collectively shared in growth, learning, transformation and being together.

And truth is it doesn’t end here. Teachers and acupuncturists have found or are making new homes and ventures and I know they will kick ass anywhere and everywhere as such talented, true, compassionate people. 🥳😎

And for me I’m simplifying, nourishing, fueling my creativity, lightening my load, and going to continue showing up too. Showing up with more qi and even more authenticity. Showing at through CoreSelf] as my professional platform where I can work with you online, in person, as your pilates instructor or mentor and your acupuncturist still.

So happy Friday y’all!

These amazing kickass super talented vibrant hardworking compassionate Pilates teachers.

As we finish the last week open here, dropping some pics sharing great memories and pouring out gratitude.

All y’all are such incredible instructors but truly incredible humans. It’s been a joy (all the big smiles) and hope we can continue to workout together, learn together, and support each other through transitions and new times.

A little trip down memory one to Clasique’s creation in sweet little Lexington Station.

Just a natural and steady growth here. A little more here and there. Paint rolling and floor scrubbing. Baby helpers or just baby cuteness. Merging the methods of Chinese Medicine and Pilates.

And the merging continues in all that I do, create, share, grow and give. Over here on it’s all integrated too

Our resident artist the AMAZING Moni Hill

You know the poppies painting was featured in the sweet old studio before we moved in here. And then in this beautiful space Moni painted custom Five Element paintings for each of the treatment rooms… all themed to their elemental vibe and color scheme.

In addition Moni helped me ensure that our front garden bed is all native plants and a happy pollinator home for monarchs and more.

Moni you’re a powerhouse. And your color, flair, fun, inspiring, bold art has brought Clasique so much joy and qi over the years. Love it and love you. 😘

The true magic of Clasique has always been the team that works here. All the growth and expansion is because of these amazing contractors showing up with heart, skill, presence, and big smiles day in and day out.

Today it’s a bit cheers to you as your last day teaching in here. Every memory is a sparkly one… like your tank tops and matching earrings 🥰
Such a dedicated apprentice and just an incredible instructor. So many clients lives are improved by just spending weekly sessions with you.

Thank you for every smile, story, workout, and inspiration. Your commitment and care here has filled up the space for years and we are all so grateful.

Thank you all for the messages, emails, calls and texts of support. Love this community and how much our time together has meant to us all.

Clasique will be closing September 24. Friday as last official day.

Between now and then COME IN we are open and here for you.

FYI I am not selling any apparatus - sorry y’all. (Just a couple pieces but to the current contractors as top priority).

Kathryn is here and wants to help you with any account things if you need them, so email or call soon.

Do you need herbs? Essential oils? And all swag will be on big sale!

I, Brooke, will continue using the space for filming and content creation. Also teaching privates online via my mentorship program RETURN. Once the building sells I will shift to either a home studio space or a very tiny low overhead yet to be determined space in town.

The building is listed and we are manifesting a buyer who will love it to the core! And all the detailed woodwork in here.

Staff will continue to communicate with you as they find their landing places in this transition. Holding lots of grace for them because I know this was hard news for them and affects so many layers of life.

Part 2 of my letter:

Clasique became the first place where I merged the modalities of classical Pilates with Chinese Medicine, offering both services to our Asheville community. In recent years, taking my passions online through video and live virtual teaching has given me wings and allowed for some really powerful and meaningful relationships. I love teaching Pilates teachers online as their mentor, and I certainly love training athletes including WNBA players as they excel in their careers (and gather more gold medals too!).

I have to pause to emphasize that I am so grateful for the team of contractors and staff at Clasique, of present and past, and every Pilates apprentice I have trained. For many of the current team, we have worked together for so many years. I am honored to have worked along side of each of you as a colleague. You have taught me so much as a practitioner, leader and human. You are remarkably talented at your professions and this community loves and values you deeply. You made this space what it is! And I am forever grateful.

I have loved every Chisel class with you, all the repetitions of Mountain Climber on the Wunda Chair, you owning your workouts and rocking all the apparatus, the Pilates workshops and seminars, and our acupuncture treatments and intimate moments together. We will be having more of all of this. It’s not over, it in fact might get more magical, but making the choice to close the studio means it’s changing.

I’m a practicing practitioner if that makes sense, and I’m dedicated to my practice because I know that serves you all best as well. So just watch out as I gather my qi, resources and creative juices into the art of Pilates and Chinese Medicine and we grow together through online, RETURN as a teacher training platform and wherever I land next in Asheville for some in person time too. Yes yes, I’m not going anywhere Asheville, just smaller and you’ll be invited for sure once I find a new small home base place to practice & teach you, right here.

We have had many journeys together that have filled my heart, through Pilates movement and acupuncture treatments, shared community, hugs and laughter and workouts. Creating and growing Clasique to fill this studio space has been a very meaningful, fun, gritty, creative, successful season and I am grateful for you beyond measure. As seasons change, I’m tuned in and I’m changing too.

I am forever a student and a teacher. And forever inside the journey of connecting to my essential core self and then sharing it all with you. As much as I love you, us and this place, I am truly ready to shift away from owning and operating a big studio. I have so much to create and give still, and I have other platforms and places where I’m ready to do that - all in.

So after twelve amazing years of being your fearless, passionate, ever evolving, imperfect and enthusiastic leader at Clasique, I’m ready to close these studio doors, sell the building, and serve up my skills in other places ~ come on over to because I’m really diving in!

This choice not only allows me to dive deeper into my role as teacher & practitioner, it is also the right choice for my family. Simplifying as an entrepreneur will allow me to be more present for the adventures of life with my kids, and this is everything.
