You wake up tired…
Even after a full night of sleep.
Your mind starts running before your feet hit the floor.
Emails. Decisions. Conversations. Pressure.
By midday, you’re running on caffeine and willpower.
By evening, you’re drained… but somehow still can’t relax.
You try to shut your brain off.
It doesn’t listen.
So you wonder:
“Why am I like this all the time?”
Here’s what most people miss:
This isn’t a mindset problem.
It’s a nervous system stuck in survival mode.
Your body is acting like something is wrong—
even when your life looks fine from the outside.
And one of the clearest signals?
Low HRV (heart rate variability)—
which means your system has lost it's adaptability and flexibility.
You’re stuck in “on.”
Not broken.
Just over-adapted to stress.
When your nervous system shifts out of survival mode,
calm doesn’t have to be forced.
It just shows up again.
Some signs of low HRV are poor stress resilience, difficulty concentrating, fatigue even after rest, poor sleep quality, higher risk of cardiovascular issues and increased inflammation.
Does this look familiar?
Post some comments if you've tracked your HRV.
