Proud mama moment!
She brought the novel Dorian Gray to life — and in doing so, became a teacher while still a student!
She was honored not just for her insight, but for how she made students care.
Years ago, we chose child-led learning.
No grades. No tests. No formal schooling…
Just curiosity, conversation, and trust that learning is innate to being human.
And now here she is — being recognized for the very thing that approach nurtured:
engaged presence, deep thinking, and the ability to make meaning matter.
This is what I mean when I talk about cultural renewal.
It starts in how we listen, how we learn, and how we engage with the smallest members of society.
