Today’s “extra duty” featured one of our amazing doctors carefully removing a collection of very official, very sparkly stickers from a stop sign outside the office — courtesy of some of our most creative patients.

We love the creativity and personality our patients bring through our doors every day — they definitely keep us smiling (and occasionally multitasking in unexpected ways).

We’re keeping a close eye on the weather. For now, we’re open and operating under normal business hours. Please check back here or call our office for the latest updates on any delays or closures. Stay safe and stay warm! ❄️❄️

Due to the continued outbreak of Measles in our community, the Buncombe County Health Department is recommending patients 6-11 months old to get an early MMR vaccine. This does not replace the regularly recommended vaccines. We encourage patients to make an appointment for this vaccine in order to protect your child.

01/25/2026

For the safety of our patients and staff, we will not be open tomorrow, Monday, 1/26/26 until 12pm. As we assess the conditions in the morning, we may extend closure for the remainder of the day, so we ask that our patients check back for updates or call our office. Please stay safe and warm!

01/25/2026

Due to the extreme weather we are experiencing, our office will be closed today. Please check back here for updates on our office hours tomorrow.

In observance of MLK day, our office will be closed Monday, January 19th. We will have sick appointments available however by appointment only and those hours will be based on call volume. For questions or sick appointments please call our office at: 828-258-0969

Due to the recent cases of measles in Buncombe County, our office is making changes to our appointment procedures. If your child has not yet been able to receive their MMR vaccine and has a fever, we will be scheduling your child's sick visit at the end of our evening clinic. We appreciate your patience as our procedures may continue to change if measles cases rise in our community. If you have any questions regarding measles or your child's immunization status, please call our office. As always, your child's health and safety remain of utmost importance to us.

Update on the recent measles outbreak and our commitment to our patients safety:

We understand that recent news about measles cases in our county may feel concerning for families. We want to reassure you that your child’s health and safety are always our top priority.

Our practice has established protocols in place to:
✔️ Identify symptoms early
✔️ Reduce the risk of exposure in our offices
✔️ Care for children safely and appropriately if measles is suspected

Vaccination remains the most effective protection against measles, and we’re happy to review your child’s immunization status or answer any questions you may have.

If you have questions, concerns, or think your child may have symptoms, please call our office before coming in so we can guide you on next steps and ensure everyone’s safety.

Thank you for trusting us with your child’s care. As always, we’re here for you every step of the way.
