An Important Update from Our Franny’s Farmacy Family:

To our valued customers and community,

We are writing to share some difficult news. On the evening of Thursday, August 28th, at approximately 6:30 PM, our West Asheville Haywood location experienced an armed robbery. An individual entered the store with a knife and took money from our register.

Our most important priority is the safety and well-being of our team, and we are profoundly grateful and relieved to report that our staff member present at the time is safe and was not physically harmed.

In order to provide our team with the necessary time and space to process this event and to ensure our store is fully prepared to welcome you back, we made the decision to temporarily close for the following few days. We sincerely apologize for any disruption or inconvenience this unforeseen closure may have caused.

We are currently working with local authorities. If you or anyone you know has information that could aid the investigation, particularly regarding the individual pictured (notable for carrying a blanket), we would be grateful if you could contact us discreetly via direct message, or at events@frannysfarmacy.com / +1 (828) 505-0446.

As a small, women-owned business, an event like this is deeply impactful, not just logistically but emotionally. The strength of our community has always been our foundation, and we are holding onto that now more than ever.
