Chances are, your body is pretty close to where it needs to be and will organize itself without a big pause.
Moving without hesitation will keep your mat work flowing and will help you build your stamina.
Remember: The mat is one big continuous exercise. ♥️

I’m not sure I’ll keep the studio set up this way long term. But it has been a great change in perspective for me as a teacher this week (& a healthy lil shake-up for the students).
Plus, the lights are such a great way to bring cheer into these darker days when the sun sets so early. 🎄❄️🎅🤶🛷🌗

This applies to just about anything you find challenging! Find your breath and stay calm. Keeping your cool will increase your chances of organizing yourself.

It’s a practice I personally work through often. Sometimes the harder I try and the more I tense up, the worse it gets. Rather than getting all squirrelly, I’m better served by maintaining a sense of relaxation (yes, even when working out).

Have you experienced this yourself? Have you tried to back yourself up for a calmer approach?

Be smart. Honor your body as it is today.
There is nothing wrong with leaving an exercise like Rowing out. Skilled practitioners know they can challenge and reorganize themselves best by going back to the basics. (hello, Roll Up). And there ain’t no shame in that game 😉
