A little bit about me!
My name is Alison, but 🎶 you can call me Al! 🎶 My pronouns are they/them and also theirs. I am a trans/non-binary massage therapist located in Asheville, NC. I’ve been in practice since 2020 mostly within the spa industry and I am now excited to be branching out to grow my own private practice.
I am passionate about connecting with my clients on a human to human level. Living in a body in late stage capitalism hell can be painful and exhausting. We all need a network of support as we work to build a new world. Bodywork can be one of those threads in our webs that helps us to keep moving comfortably.
I have a special interest in working with people who are more sensitive to touch, experience chronic pain or live with chronic illness. As a person with hypermobility, I specifically love working with fellow bendy people (EDS/HSD), or really anybody who finds benefit in the the medicine of touch. I believe in protecting our community’s most vulnerable members and, because of this, I keep a Covid safer practice by always wearing an N95/KN95 mask, running a HEPA air filter during sessions and thoroughly sanitizing the space between clients.
