Hi friends near and far. I wanted to let every one know that I am safe and ok after the storm. My home is fine. We had huge trees and branched down all around but miraculously no damage. I live very close to the French Broad but up hill. We just got power back after 11 days, but still no internet so I am in the library parking lot to write this. I have been incredibly blessed and protected through this ordeal.
Please keep sending prayers and help to the community. . .I know there are many who were not so fortunate.
