Cannabis prerolls sold in dispensaries have their advantages and disadvantages, which I break down in the video listed below that you can watch after this one, if you wish.

I personally tend to avoid them except when they provide something in particular I am interested in. This video talks about that situation and how I suggest we get more out of the preroll than the typical approach.

Kratom is the name of a tropical tree that naturally grows in Thailand, Malaysia, and other locations in Southeast Asia. Historically, farm workers chewed kratom leaves to give them energy and relieve pain, allowing them to work harder and longer. In more recent years, kratom products have gained popularity for both its stimulant and sedative effects.

Leaves from the Kratom tree are used to make herbal supplements that are gaining popularity though it isn’t an FDA-approved medication and kratom products aren’t well-regulated. In fact, some U.S. states and other countries have made it illegal to purchase or consume kratom products. There isn’t clear evidence that kratom is safe or effective. It can be addictive, and has side effects and drug interactions that may make it unsafe for some people to take.

7-Hydroxymitragynine, commonly known as 7-OH, is a potent, psychoactive compound found in trace amounts in the kratom plant. While naturally occurring, the 7-OH sold in concentrated products is typically synthesized or semi-synthesized, producing strong opioid-like effects far greater than those of natural kratom leaves. The FDA has warned that 7-OH products present a significant public health risk due to their potential for addiction, abuse, and life-threatening, respiratory depression.

An Executive Order was signed yesterday, April 18th, 2026, directing federal agencies to accelerate research, clinical trial pathways, and drug approval timelines for psychedelic therapies. You can introduce accelerated breathing after taking the cannabis and feeling its glow. This can be done for just a few minutes and can significantly “amp up” the effect of the specific cannabis you have chosen. Or you can focus on long slow exhales to support a more relaxed, deeper body experience. Experiment…it’s harmless and 100% under your control.
