Our patient-focused model ensures that you, the patient, come first. We listen to you, understand you, and work together to provide effective solutions. We want to make health care better, and we know that can be done one patient at a time. At Sona, our patients are more than medications. They’re people with a story, a family, a history, and a future. And when they come to the pharmacy counter, they need more than medications. Flu season is upon us once again, and we are offering flu vaccines to ages 3 and older! We will have egg-free flu vaccine, regular flu vaccine, and flu vaccine for those 65 years of age and older. All of our vaccines come in a pre-filled syringe, so they are thimerosal (preservative) free.

We will be holding on-site flu clinics on the following Saturdays from 10 AM – 2 PM:

September 27 at Sona Asheville (805 Fairview Rd.)
October 11 at Sona Arden (106 Long Shoals Rd.)
October 18 at Sona Asheville

We are accepting walk-in flu shots during the week; however, we have limited weekday availability and encourage you to utilize our scheduled Saturday clinics! We will have extra staff to ensure your appointment is fast and easy.

For all flu shots, please fill out the consent form and book your appointment to help make the process as smooth as possible. Please come into the pharmacy at your appointment time and let our staff know your name and a pharmacist will be available to help you shortly!

This past weekend, we took some time to kick off summer as a team and enjoy spending time together! We grilled, played games, and made tie-dye Sona shirts for employees and their families.

One thing that stood out was that almost everyone who came reached out ahead of time or asked when they got there, “Is there anything I can help with?”

Our team has grown tremendously over the years, and many of our employees never get the chance to work together at the same place. But one thing that all of our employees have in common is a desire to help, and that was so clearly on display as we celebrated together! That’s one of the many reasons we love our team and cherish our culture of hospitality so dearly—it’s what makes Sona such a special place to be.

For the safety of our staff, we are closing ALL locations at 5 PM today (1/10/25) to allow them to travel home safely before dark. As always, a pharmacist is available on-call for emergencies!

If you have an immediate need or concern, please call our Asheville pharmacy at 828-298-3636 or our Arden pharmacy at 828-707-9700.

For delivery: any medications that were not able to be delivered today will be prioritized for delivery tomorrow as soon as the road conditions are safe for our delivery drivers!
