Our patient-focused model ensures that you, the patient, come first. We listen to you, understand you, and work together to provide effective solutions. We want to make health care better, and we know that can be done one patient at a time. At Sona, our patients are more than medications. Our delivery operations will follow the same hours as the pharmacy and will continue as long as the roads are safe to travel.

Sona Asheville & Sona Arden: 9 AM - 6 PM
Sona Compounding: 11 AM - 6 PM
Sona Specialty: 12 PM - 5 PM

Pharmacy Locations Closed on 1/25/26 due to Winter Storm

For the safety of our staff and patients, both retail pharmacy locations will be closed today, Sunday, 1/25/26.

With further ice accumulation expected throughout the day, both Sona Asheville (805 Fairview Rd.) and Sona Arden (106 Long Shoals Rd.) will be closed to keep both our staff and patients off the roads. Our delivery operations will follow the same hours as the pharmacy and will resume once the roads are safe to travel. As always, a pharmacist will be available on-call for medication emergencies!

We will be monitoring the storm and road conditions throughout the day and will immediately share any additional hour changes or closures that may occur over the next few days as we navigate the safest options for our staff and patients.

Adjusted Hours at Sona Pharmacy due to Winter Storm

For the safety of our staff, we will be closing at 4 PM on Saturday, 1/24, at Sona Asheville (805 Fairview Rd.) and Sona Arden (106 Long Shoals Rd.) to allow our team to travel home safely before dark. As always, a pharmacist will be available on-call for medication emergencies!

We will be monitoring the storm and road conditions throughout the weekend. We will immediately share any additional hour changes or closures that may occur over the next few days as we navigate the safest options for our staff and patients.

For delivery: any medications that cannot be delivered on Saturday will be prioritized for delivery as soon as the road conditions are safe for our delivery drivers!

Flu season is upon us once again, and we are offering flu vaccines to ages 3 and older! We will have egg-free flu vaccine, regular flu vaccine, and flu vaccine for those 65 years of age and older. All of our vaccines come in a pre-filled syringe, so they are thimerosal (preservative) free.

Our final on-site flu clinic is this Saturday, 10/18, from 10 AM – 2 PM at Sona Asheville (805 Fairview Road)!

We are accepting walk-in flu shots during the week; however, we have limited weekday availability and encourage you to utilize our final Saturday clinic! We will have extra staff to ensure your appointment is fast and easy.

For all flu shots, please fill out the consent form and book your appointment to help make the process as smooth as possible. Please come into the pharmacy at your appointment time and let our staff know your name and a pharmacist will be available to help you shortly!
