🧠 Meet Our Psychological Testing Team at Carolina Peds!
We offer comprehensive psychological evaluations for children and teens (ages 2.5–17 years) to assess cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and academic functioning.
Whether a family is looking for clarity around developmental delays, school difficulties, social concerns, or diagnostic clarification, our team uses gold-standard tools and clinical expertise to provide meaningful insights and clear next steps.
💡Did you know? Insurance does not reimburse for any diagnoses or testing that is not considered “medical” in nature and so we offer several packages for families to supplement what insurance will reimburse to best meet families’ needs. This includes several options for learning packages (i.e. determining dyslexia, dysgraphia, etc) and a kindergarten readiness assessment package for families considering enrolling their child in kindergarten early. We've had great interest in these packages across the years. This year, we are also introducing an Understanding First package, which allows families to learn more about their child’s strengths and challenges without assigning a specific diagnosis.
