Thank you to our wonderful community for checking in on us - we are very fortunate that our family, home, and office are all fine! Power has been restored but internet is down and water may be compromised as well. For patients with upcoming visits scheduled, we hope to be in touch individually with you soon, so that we can try to connect and see how we can best be of help to you.

We are overwhelmed by the tragic devastation brought by the hurricane, and yet we are amazed and forever grateful for all of the truly amazing people responding in each and every way they are able to try and meet the vast, vast needs of our beautiful city and region.

Naturopathic healthcare providers have been officially declared as “Essential” in Governor Roy Cooper’s March 27, 2020 Executive Order.

This means our office will still be open for taking supplement orders, and we will be at our office for patient appointments, which will be done over the phone or video chat for the time being.

Homeopathy, the main naturopathic modality used by Dr. Kristina, is under attack by the FDA.

The FDA has been in the process of revising their guidelines for the regulation of homeopathic medicines the past few years. The latest draft has some very detrimental changes that could essentially make homeopathic remedies illegal in the United States.

If homeopathic remedies are removed from the marketplace, they will likely be gone forever and will never return.

If this horrifies you as much as it does us, then there is something you can do to help. There is a large viral campaign taking place today to get as many people as possible to comment on the FDA's latest draft to pressure them to grant a 180-day extension to allow for more time to prevent these changes from taking place.
