Show me your level of sleep deprivation with emojis! Are you 🥱😵‍💫😵? Or are you feeling like 🤸‍♀️🤸‍♀️🤸‍♀️? Doula work can really stretch you as a person with the hours that you end up working. The longest I have ever been awake is 50 hours, I can honestly say that it took days to recover. 10/10 do not recommend trying it.

Doula tricks! I always have peppermint oil in my doula bag. Not only is it useful during labor to help wake up a room with a fresh mint smell, it can help calm nausea and provide a focal point if someone is feeling lightheaded. I also HIGHLY recommend that my clients pack it in their hospital supplies. One final trick you may not know about.... Peppermint oil can be used as a cool diffusion in the toilet to help mama p*e after birth!

Today is International Women’s day! 🥳

I love reading about women who inspire me to greatness, greatness not only in the mundane, but greatness in acting on my faith. Today I would love to share a woman whose story never ceases to amaze and inspire me. This , we celebrate Corrie Ten Boom—a Dutch watchmaker turned WWII hero. With unwavering faith and courage, she transformed her home into a safe haven, hiding over 800 Jews from the N***s. Her story reminds us that one woman’s resilience can spark hope and change lives. Let’s honor her legacy by taking bold action for justice and compassion.
