Low-frequency TENS is designed to work a little differently.

Instead of fast stimulation, it uses slower pulses and a steady rhythm to help your body release endorphins, your natural pain relievers. This can help reduce pelvic pain and calm an overactive nervous system.

Think of it as a slower, deeper approach to pain relief.

Pe**le clamps are devices worn on the p***s to help prevent bladder leaks.

They can be a helpful option if urinary incontinence is getting in the way of things you enjoy, like exercising, socializing, or traveling. Like any tool, it’s important to use them correctly and understand when they’re appropriate.

Having options can make a big difference in confidence and quality of life.

First up, the kettlebell good morning pelvic nerve glide.

Hold the kettlebell close to your chest, soften your knees, and take a slow breath in. As you exhale, hinge at your hips, let your belly soften, and allow your pelvis to move back.

As you fold forward, you may feel a stretch through your lower back and hamstrings. That increasing tension gently loads the sacral and pudendal nerves.
This is about controlled loading, not forcing the stretch.

There’s no one right way to have s*x with a stoma.

Your body is still capable of pleasure, intimacy, and deep connection. What matters is finding what feels physically comfortable and emotionally safe.

That also means being with a partner who respects your body exactly as it is.

S*x after ostomy surgery isn’t about doing it the “right” way. It’s about discovering what works for you.

Most people hear about getting hit in the balls and immediately wince. That reflex is real.

But not everyone experiences that sensation the same way. For some, impact or pressure to the testicles can be associated with arousal, depending on context, safety, and personal preference.

There’s a wide range of human experience here, and understanding it helps reduce shame and confusion.

How do you know if you have premature ej*******on, and what can you do about it?

Premature ej*******on, or PE, is the most common s*xual concern in men. What matters most is whether it happens consistently and whether it causes distress for you or your partner.

The good news is that effective strategies exist. Pelvic floor therapy improves muscle awareness and control. Behavioral strategies help retrain arousal patterns. Nervous system regulation techniques, such as diaphragmatic breathing, can reduce anxiety and improve endurance.

You have options, and you don’t have to navigate this alone.

Internal pelvic floor assessments are always collaborative.

They are typically performed with a gloved, lubricated finger, one finger, sometimes two, depending on tissue flexibility and your comfort level.

But what matters most is ongoing and affirming consent.

Every step is discussed, and you get to decide what feels safe and appropriate for you.

This is about building trust, not rushing through an exam.

This is what pelvic floor coordination looks like on ultrasound.

When the pelvic floor contracts, we want to see a lift at the bladder base or bladder neck. And we do see that here.

But we are also seeing something else. Downward pressure from the abdominals.

That creates a counterproductive pattern where you are lifting from below, but pushing down from above at the same time.

This is a common compensation.

Learning how to contract the pelvic floor without bearing down is key to improving coordination, reducing symptoms, and getting better outcomes with training.
