Alberta is currently looking for compassionate caregivers to open their home to an adult male with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.

*a competitive daily reimbursement/pay to support the individual living in the home.

*must have an open bedroom and be willing to support/guide and monitor individual in their daily goals.

*experience caring for others is essential.

*this position is called AFL Provider (assisted family living)

*great job for couples or a single person.
(and If you have a sweet pet/s in the home, that's a bonus!)

*prefer Hendersonville or South Asheville area.

Residential staff from the Asheville office picked up gift baskets for their clients this week! The baskets were filled with snacks, summer supplies, and other goodies for the clients and families to enjoy.

We want to give a huge THANK YOU to Kelly Morgan and her family for putting the baskets together 🙌 Also to Tom Duehring, Derek Mitchell, and the Greensboro office for facilitating this gift! Clients and staff are excited to enjoy their gifts as we round out the summer 🎉

The Alberta team in Asheville is looking for a new member!

We are looking for an AFL or Alternative Family Living home (which is a type of Residential Supports) for a 36-year-old male with mild developmental disabilities in Henderson County. Your family could be an individual or couple; your home also needs an open bedroom for this person.

He has a full life in Hendersonville with work, social activities, and church where he is already supported by other services and people. He is self-sufficient in many ways and an overall relaxed and happy individual.
