We are currently seeking two Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants, including a full-time bilingual Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for an internal medicine/geriatric medical practice in Midlothian, Virginia, and a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for dermatological practices in Midlothian and Petersburg, Virginia. Ideal applicant should be a team-oriented, compassionate, and interested in enhancing the well-being of our patients
Internal Medicine/Geriatric NP/PA
Responsibilities
• Evaluate and treat adult and geriatric patients for acute, routine, well, and follow-up care.
• Specialize in the management of chronic diseases including diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, and high cholesterol, obesity
• Diagnose and treat acute illness
• Treat minor injuries
• Physical examinations and immunizations
• Gynecological care
• Geriatric medicine
• Cardiac screenings
• Specialist and community resource referrals• Educate patients on prevention and management of disease
Schedule
• 5 days a week, Monday through Friday, with shared weekend and holiday on-call shifts with other providers
• No hospital rounds expected
Qualifications:
• Must be Bilingual, English and Spanish
• Possess and maintain certification as a Family or Medical/Surgical NP accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
• PA must be certified in internal or family medicine.
• Ideally, will possess a minimum of two (2) years of experience within the last three (3) years as an NP or PA in an internal, family and/or geriatric medical setting. Will consider new graduates as well.

Dermatology NP/PA
Responsibilities:
• Work three to four exam rooms, with the support of two to three medical assistants
• Evaluate and treat patients with all types of skin disorders, acne, nail fungus, xerosis, skin cancer, lesions, biopsies, wound care, skin rashes/allergies, and suture removal
• Perform basic cosmetic procedures including dermal fillers, BOTOX, chemical peels, and mole and skin tag removal
• Offer and recommend skin care products that will allow patients to professionally care for their skin at home
• Educate patients on preventive care
Schedule
• 4 to 5 days a week, Monday through Friday
• No hospital rounds expected
Qualifications:
• Must have a passion for dermatology, including cosmetic dermatology
• Willing to provide patient care independently in collaboration with our collaboration team
• Possess a minimum of two (2) years of experience within the last three (3) years as an NP or PA in a dermatological medical practice. However, will consider new graduates as well.
