Everyone obsesses over nutrition, and certainly it’s important, but we can’t forget what we feed our head and heart daily rewires our biochemistry just as much as food does.

If I had waited…

🌬️ The Vagus Nerve: Your Body’s Hidden Pathway to Peace 🌿

There’s a nerve in your body that most of us never learned about in school. It’s not flashy like your biceps or obvious like your heartbeat. But it quietly runs from your brain, weaving its way down through your lungs and heart, wrapping gently around your digestive system like a thread holding you together.

It’s called the vagus nerve—and it may be the reason you can go from chaos to calm with just your breath.

Think back to a moment when you felt completely overwhelmed. Maybe you were stuck in traffic with your chest tightening. Maybe your child was melting down, and your heart raced as though you were in danger. Or maybe the stress of daily life had built up so much that you couldn’t remember the last time you exhaled fully.

That’s your nervous system stuck in fight-or-flight mode—pumping out cortisol, bracing for impact, even when the threat is only a deadline or a disagreement.

But here’s the good news: the vagus nerve is like a switch. And Breathwork is the hand that flips it.
