Happy Birthday to our Technician Assistant Joshua Hall!
Mr Hall has been an employee with our Ashland Prosthetic & Orthotic business 2 years.
Josh not only assists our technicians in the laboratory manufacturing prosthetic limbs, he also assist our prosthetist at times when seeing patients.
He knows first hand the trials and tribulations and amputee goes through when losing their limb to amputation, because he also is amputated below the knee. This guy is also a great K3 functional walker using his prosthetic limb.
Thanks for all you do for our company Josh!!
Have a great Birthday!!❤️🎁🎂🎉🎈

Wednesday was an exciting day at Ashland Prosthetic & Orthotic Services!!
Todd McCaffery was delivered his right, (temporary) transfemoral (above knee) prosthetic leg.
Mr. McCaffery at one time was a transtibial (below knee) amputee, but due to osteomyelitis bone infection his right leg was amputated a few months ago above his knee.
It’s more difficult to walk with a mechanical knee than your own knee but Todd handled it like a pro and was walking not only in our gait room where we have parallel bars, he was walking all over the office with assistive aid of a walker for support.
The entire time he had his fiancé Abby Fraley praising him, and telling him what a wonderful job he was doing. It’s always good to have support from family and friends because our patients don’t only want to get up and walk again in a prosthetic leg, they know they have their family or friends who love them in their corner cheering them on with every step they take.
This is what makes our job so gratifying! Congratulations Todd!! Keep advancing with your walking and you’ll be able to receive your permanent prosthetic leg with a hydraulic knee in a few months.
❤️😀🙏🧡🦵🎉

This post is from Crystal & Shawn McCoy.
Shawn is one of our Ashland P & O Services Family members who is a great K3 functional walker in his transtibial, below knee prosthetic limb.
It’s April and that means it's Limb Loss Awareness month. We have so much to be thankful for. It's been a challenging 3 years but we continue to fight this battle everyday. There are good days and bad days but we handle those with patience. We are thankful for our medical team and Judith L Stepp and Ervin Stepp from Ashland Prosthetic & Orthotic Services. To my Musicman, you are an inspiration to me and to others. I love you. Always...Remember who you are. 🥰🦵🏼🧡

We Love Our Prosthetic Family!!🧡
April Is Limb Loss Awareness Month!
When we wear the color orange, we represent all people who have lost a limb due to birth defect, sickness, or accident.
Amputee’s, through all your hard work and determination you are a total success story!
Always be proud of what you’ve overcome to be able to walk again while using your prosthetic limb.
You are a survivor who shows inner and outward strengths each and every day.
It’s not only a physical, but a mental challenge for you to walk not only today, but all days!
If you keep a positive attitude and work hard at getting your body healthier and stronger, you can, and will walk again!
So be proud of yourself! I know we sure are!!
Hugs Family!!🧡🙏🦵🦶🎉🧡
