For anyone who is wondering: the clinic is permanently closed, as Dr Early is retiring. You can, however, still reach Namaste at 573-657-7330 or through namastehealthcare@gmail.com, though it might take a day or two to respond. We can now receive and send texts from the main clinic number, 573-657-7330.

If you need medical records, you can request them directly from us. The forms on our website, namastehealthcare.com, can be used to either request a copy of records for yourself (there's a small fee to cover the cost of the materials used + postage, it's listed on the form), or for a new doctor. Or you can use the medical records request form that your new doctor provides. Our fax number is still 573-657-1772.

We are still planning to transition all of your medical records to a third-party company sometime in the next few months. The link will be posted here and on our website. Once we've turned over records to the other company, you will request records from them instead of from us.

Watch for an update here or on our website. It's been a privilege caring for our patients for the last 20 years, but sleeping in on a weekday is really nice.

We are now closed. We are now (theoretically) retired. We may not work on any given day. So, if you email us or leave us a voicemail, please be patient. We are now pursuing our lives and our interests OUTSIDE of work, so we might be a little slow in responding.

Most of our patients have now been informed that Dr Early is retiring at the end of August, and Namaste Health Care will be closing. It's been bittersweet saying goodbye to patients over the last couple of months, since some of them have been with Namaste for 20 years.

It's time, though. We really are looking forward to retirement. Molly is finding it harder and harder to wake up for work!

Namaste will maintain our email address (namastehealthcare@gmail.com) and our website (namastehealthcare.com) for about a year.

We'll post a form on the website you can use to request your own copy of your records from us, and a form which you can use to request your records be sent to another medical practice. By next July, the remaining medical records will be turned over to a medical records management company and you can request copies from them. Details and a link will be posted on our website.

Betsy Barnes, younger sister to Kate Branham and older sister to Bridget and Theresa Early, died in her sleep on Wednesday, March 19. The clinic will be closed Tuesday afternoon March 25 and Wednesday all day March 26 for us to attend the services.

She was a wonderful, sparkling person, and I know some of our longer-term patients met her from when she would stop by to see us at the clinic, back when she was still working as director of Pike County Senate Bill 40 program supporting people with disabilities.

Holidays! We will be closed December 23 through January 1. Molly is watching for the presents to start appearing under the tree.

Socket was working on something in our building this morning (Tuesday, September 10) and knocked out our internet. This also takes out our phones and fax, and the Patient Portal. Don't panic, it is being worked on. I expect it to all be fixed by end of day.

We'll be closed Monday, September 2, for Labor Day. Hope you can all have one last picnic/bike ride/trip to the lake/whatever, before fall really sets in.

Molly is now our full time clinic counselor, and working hard at it.

Sad news for all the Claire fans. She passed away on Tuesday, June 25, at the fine age of 17. Here's a picture of her in her youth, back in 2008, to remember her by.

And yes, we will be closed on July 4 for Independence Day.

We will be closed Wednesday, June 19, in honor of the Juneteenth holiday.

Claire had a bit of a health scare this week, but the vet thinks her mobility issues are due to arthritis. She successfully expressed her unhappiness at the vet office, and came home with some medication. Keep her in your thoughts, please.

Molly has taken up the job of being the counselor at our office with enthusiasm.

We'll be closed for the holidays, December 25 through January 1. We will attempt to retrieve all voicemails at least once a day except on December 25 and January 1, but it is a holiday so Dr Early's response time might be slow.

We have settled into our new space, mostly, and it seems to be working well. We are slowly catching up on everything that was set aside during the move.

Claire would like all of her fans to know she is doing well in retirement. She enjoys having a human pillow to sleep on every single night (Kate), and just about has Kate's household whipped into shape. She does miss seeing all of you at the clinic, but she is being spoiled almost enough to make up for it.

Several people have called to say that their GPS seems to be sending them to the wrong location when they try to find our new clinic.

I just tested it and Google Maps seems to think that "2100 East Broadway" is on an alley between Hitt Street and 10th Street in downtown - about a half mile away from us.

Maybe try looking for "Clover's Market" or "Hong Kong Market" on East Broadway, they are in the same parking lot as our building (the Stephens Lake Office Building).

I tried to submit a correction to Google Maps, but we'll have to wait to see if it worked.
