Happy Occupational Therapy Month! 🌞 This month, we are proud to celebrate our incredible OT team here at Boyd—Jody Littlejohn and Emily Madden!

Jody has been a part of the Boyd family for 7 years and serves as our Director of Rehab. Her leadership, dedication, and heart for our residents truly shine every single day.

Emily, our amazing COTA, has been with us for over 4 years and brings so much energy, compassion, and positivity to everyone she works with.

Together, these two bring sunshine into the lives of our residents—helping them regain independence, build confidence, and keep smiling along the way. To show just how much they mean to us, we surprised them with a “bag full of sunshine”—a small token for the BIG difference they make every day! Thank you, Jody and Emily, for all that you do. 🌟 Congratulations to Jasmine, our Care Team Member of the Month from March at Boyd Nursing & Rehabilitation! 🌟
Jasmine is a tremendous support to everyone around her and is always willing to step in, lend a hand, and help her teammates however she can. Her kindness, energy, and positive spirit truly light up our building and make Boyd feel even more like home.

Beyond her dedication here, Jasmine also shines as a member of the Eastern Kentucky Colonels women’s basketball team—bringing that same drive, teamwork, and enthusiasm into everything she does.

Relias Winner – March Recognition! 🎉

At Boyd, Nursing and Rehab, we love recognizing our team for their dedication to growth and excellence! Each month, our Care Team members complete their Relias trainings, and those who finish by the 10th are entered into a drawing.

We’re excited to announce that Hunter Isaacs is our March winner! 🏆 Hunter has been a valued part of our team as a Physical Therapy Assistant since December 2024, and she continues to show up with dedication not only in the care she provides, but also in staying on top of her education and training.

She was rewarded with a well-deserved self-care basket, because those who take such great care of our residents deserve to take a little time for themselves too! Hunter, thank you for your hard work, your commitment, and the positive energy you bring to Boyd every day. Congratulations! 👏

On Friday, we had the pleasure of celebrating the incredible Case Managers from UK Saint Claire Hospital with delicious snacks and a fun paint party! 🎨💙

This dedicated group works tirelessly every day to advocate for their patients, often going above and beyond to ensure each individual receives the care, resources, and support they need. Their work requires not only clinical knowledge, but also compassion, patience, and strong coordination as they navigate complex situations and help guide patients and families through important decisions.

Their ongoing collaboration, attention to detail, and commitment to planning the next best steps for each patient do not go unnoticed. The impact they make is felt not only by the patients they serve, but also by the entire care team.

We are truly grateful for their dedication, professionalism, and partnership. It is an honor to work alongside such a passionate and hardworking group, and we look forward to continuing our collaboration in support of the patients and communities we serve! 🌟
