About Nicole Peterson, LAc, MAcOM

Hi, I'm Nicole. I am dedicated to helping people reclaim their health and vitality so they can enjoy life again. Using ancient and modern therapies including acupuncture, NAET, herbal medicine, and nutrition, I help people of all ages on their journey back to health.

My interest in Chinese medicine began when I was 15 years old on a family trip to China where I visited local hospitals and small village clinics. Intrigued by what I saw, I decided to learn more and eventually pursued a career in Chinese medicine. Graduating in 2003, I earned my Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM) in Portland, Oregon.  Prior to relocating to Ashland with my family, I maintained a busy acupuncture practice located in Asheville, North Carolina for over 10 years. I have trained extensively in the Nambudripad Allergy Elimination Technique (NAET) since 2007. I went on to study Natural Functional Nutrition in order to meet the needs of many of my patients who suffer from various chronic illnesses like autoimmune disorders, adrenal fatigue, and gut malabsorption, most of which respond well with nutritional supplementation.

I have over 15 years of clinical experience. I am board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), and I am licensed to practice acupuncture, nutrition, and herbal medicine in Oregon and California.​
