Why do you choose to care for hospice patients?

"I chose hospice work because it is a privilege to be there for people during a critical and special time of life. But the reason I STAY with Regional Hospice is because the organization puts the patient's needs first. I am encouraged to give the patient what they need; no matter how long it takes or what it costs. Isn't that what we're all hoping for when we are providing health care?" Sarah / RN

Thank you Gogebic-Ontonagon ISD. Regional Hospice's RN, Sarah (pictured-center front) was happy to speak with the CNA students enrolled in their CNA program at Gogebic Community College in Ironwood, MI. It was an opportunity to provide education about end of life care and the benefits for patients and families receiving services from Regional Hospice.
