ONE STORY that came in to my InBox recently...
First a little background on Holly: Holly is a 17-year-old beagle that has had joint issues for years, which make it difficult for her to walk or keep her balance. She's in pain and is on some conventional pain meds. She is getting sores that don't heal on her body that bleed and smell horrible.
Holly was deteriorating so quickly that Tanya, her owner, thought that she would have to put her down this week. Keep your Kleenex handy.
This is Holly's story.
"I have really great news about Holly!! I put one X39 patch on her spine as soon as we got home. Her open sore was still quite red, bleeding and with a skin tag protruding on it (and smelled horrible). She had her usual painful walking issues last night. But she fell into a deep, restful sleep when I put the patch on. Normally she doesn't go to sleep that fast.
We got up this morning, and her skin is truly healing--it's not bleeding, there is no smell, it's less red, and hair is beginning to grow over it!
Overnight!
Normally when I get her off the bed, I have to drag her body to the edge of the bed, lift her off and hold her up between my legs until she can stand. She still typically falls, and then I lift her back legs again (this may take a few tries) until she takes some tenuous steps. This morning she got up on all fours on the bed and walked to the edge and almost looked like she may jump (something she hasn't done in years!) I got her off the bed, and she immediately went to all four legs and walked on her own with no hesitation!
I've never seen such a dramatic response in 9 hours! I wish I had a before pic of her horrible open sore before this morning.
I hope to use these for the rest of Holly's life, which I realize now can be much much longer than I thought previously."
Thanks, Tanya
