🦋🐛 Nature came to visit us today! Our residents had such a wonderful time with Bugs-R-Us Educational Services as they shared fascinating stories and creatures from the beautiful Siskiyou Mountain Wildlife. 🌿🐞

The program sparked curiosity, smiles, and even a few brave hands-on moments! Thank you, Bugs R Us, for bringing the wonders of nature right to our community and creating such a joyful experience for everyone. 💛

This week, our residents were treated to a timeless classic — the Kentucky Hot Brown — lovingly prepared by our own Chef Tony! 🧑‍🍳🥓🧀

First created in 1926 by Chef Fred K. Schmidt, this comforting dish is more than just a meal. It’s a taste of history that stirs up memories, sparks conversation, and brings plenty of smiles to the table. 💛

A big thank-you to Chef Tony for making every mealtime such a special experience for our community!

💙 At our Memory Care community, our team is the heart of everything we do. Each month, we want to take time to highlight our amazing employees and the incredible care they provide every day.

Nevaeh was born in Central Point, Oregon and grew up in Medford. Nevaeh started caregiving for her grandparents at the age of 12, fell in love with it and has been caregiving ever since. She has worked in Hospice care and finds enjoyment in helping others. Her long-term goal is to become a Hospice nurse.

Nevaeh loves fishing and riding dirt bikes. She enjoys reading books, doing puzzles, and hanging out with her best friend, Lily.

Nevaeh has a genuine love and care for our residents. She is attentive to each resident’s needs and responds lovingly. We are blessed to have her as part of our team.🌟

Our residents gathered around the table, cards in hand and smiles on their faces. With each number called, the excitement grew—clapping, cheering, and a few playful groans when someone was just one square away.

Moments like these remind us that joy is found in the simplest of activities. Bingo brings more than fun; it encourages social engagement, sparks memories, and gives our residents a chance to celebrate each other’s wins. Most importantly, it creates opportunities for togetherness, which is what makes our community feel like family. 💕
