But in my office, I see it show up in the body first.

• Blood sugar swings

Whole Food Folate: Why the Form Matters

When people hear “folate,” they often think it’s just another B vitamin.
But how folate shows up in the body depends greatly on the form it comes in.

Folate is essential for:
• cellular energy
• nervous system support
• mood and mental clarity
• healthy methylation and detox pathways

The challenge?
Many processed foods and supplements use synthetic folic acid, which the body doesn’t always convert efficiently.

For some people, that conversion is sluggish—or doesn’t happen well at all.

Whole food folate, on the other hand, comes in a form the body recognizes and knows how to use.
It works with your biochemistry instead of asking your body to compensate.

You might notice folate support is especially important if you experience:
