Healing Begins Here: Gratitude and Grief Can Live Together
As Thanksgiving approaches, you might feel pressure to 'be grateful' when your heart is broken. Here's the truth: You can be thankful for the time you had AND deeply sad it's over. Both feelings can exist at the same time.
It's okay to:
β Feel thankful and heartbroken
β Celebrate and cry
β Participate and need to step away
β Remember and grieve
Your grief doesn't make you ungrateful. Your love doesn't disappear because you're healing.
