We are four hours in. Midwife is here at the Pixie Palace.

She presently doesn’t want anyone here besides me and Midwife.

This is Cervix. The Pearly Gates. This is what the s***m needs to find in the dark. And even if they manage to find it, Her Majesty, O**m, is waiting for them behind the pearly gates only for a couple of days out of the month on average. The tiny opening is called OS. This is also where menstrual blood comes from. It opens only when a pregnant woman is about to give birth. The cervix moves slightly up and down during a monthly cycle. It goes down and opens slightly during ovulation to help s***ms come through. It also goes down and opens during menstruation. The rest of the month it stays up. Conceiving and building a new baby’s body is unfathomably complex process, where something can go wrong on average about 400 trillion times. So if you manage to be born with a fully formed body, it is already a miraculous success story!
