What has our MedTreks team been up to this summer? ☀️⁠

⁠Anna went backpacking in the Andes of Ecuador, continuing her work on a project documenting tropical glacier retreat!⁠ ⁠
⁠
Mary enjoyed an ocean escape in La Union, Philippines — a laid-back surf town known for its beaches and vibrant local scene — with her husband and their three huskies, staying at a nice, dog-friendly resort.⁠
⁠
Becky enjoyed a trip to Norway this summer, where highlights included basking in a floating sauna, riding bikes along the epic Rallarvegen Trail from Finse to Flam, and cruising down the fjords from Flam onward to Bergen.⁠
⁠
Ari spent a week in Tahoe working at aid station at the Western States Ultra-Running race followed by a few days enjoying time on the lake with friends!⁠

⁠We are so thankful for this rad group of women behind the scenes planning, building, promoting and coordinating all the MedTreks adventures!

Ski & CME!! Wait... what? Yes, really ❄️. Next March, we’re heading to Bend, Oregon for a MedTreks-style winter escape. CME with crisp alpine air, cozy après-ski vibes and some of the best trials in the West! ⁠

When? March 11–15, 2026 for a week of learning, community, and skiing at Mt. Bachelor. ⁠
