Mr. Scribner was truly a joy to have as part of the Bears Hollow family. We are grateful to have been part of his journey and thank you for choosing Birch Haven for his care. He brought smiles to so many faces during his time with us, and he will be dearly missed. His big smile always lit up the home.

Today we held a "Kick off the Summer" picnic at our Timbers Edge and Bears Hollow.
It was an absolutely beautiful day for a picnic, some games and some live music by Jay and Tammy Roy

Joanne will be deeply missed. She was a joy to visit with and always had the most wonderful stories to share. We are grateful to her family for allowing us the privilege of caring for her—it was truly an honor to have her with us.

Joanne Kurensky Malmberg, age 85, died on May 29, 2025, at Ashland Memorial Medical Center. Joanne was born on April 4,1940 in Ashland, Wisconsin. She graduated from Ashland High School in 1958. Joanne attended the University of Eau Claire for one year and then moved to Minneapolis to become a
