Join Kaitlyn to celebrate the Spring Equinox with a YOGA MALA!
A Yoga Mala is the practice of 108 consecutive Sun Salutations (Surya Namaskar A) in celebration of the life-force energy in nature and within each of us. This is a deeply meditative practice that unites the body, mind, and the universal spirit, especially when nature is undergoing a change in seasons!
This class is meant to be taken all the way through and typically takes 1.5-2 hours. As yoga is such a personal practice, you are invited to take breaks in Child’s Pose and modify as needed! Due to its length, this will be a non-heated practice.
Each participant will receive 108 beads to keep count of their Salutations. When finished, a prayer necklace, also known as a Mala, can be made. This is a beautiful token to honor your dedication to your practice and to yourself!
Please bring a mat, plenty of water, a towel, and your beautiful spirit to make the transition into Spring together!
