Ashland Yoga Center

Ashland Yoga Center Ashland Yoga Center is a diverse, inclusive, and welcoming community. www.ashlandyogacenter.net PLEASE READ! Please read and follow the studio etiquette.

To promote functionality and consistence and since we love yoga and our yoga community a lot we want to make the yoga experience as enjoyable, easygoing and carefree as possible. Arrive on time. Showing up at the studio on time is crucial for your personal practice and also for the teacher and your yoga peers. Studio opens 15 minutes before the start of the class and door locks when class begins.

Late admittance is not allowed once doors are locked so please don’t knock on the door. Leave your cellphone in your car. If you need to bring your phone in, please turn it off. Do not leave it on vibrate. This is so you can fully disconnect and others won’t be disturbed. If, for some reason, being fully disconnected is going to make you anxious (say, you have children who need to be able to reach you), please talk to the teacher before class. You might be able to leave it next to you on silent. Bring water and your own mat. We have a handful of mats to borrow and we ask that you clean it with a mat cleaning solution before rolling it and putting it back in the shelf. Wear clothing appropriate for the class. Wear comfortable clothing that you can move in. Dressing in a way that won’t distract anyone or make them uncomfortable is a kindness to your fellow students. Men must wear shirts, Shirtless is not allowed. Scents and Cleanliness. Take it easy on perfumes, colognes and other scents before coming to class and be mindful of personal hygiene. Some people are allergic or sensitive to certain smells. Applying deodorant, if you know you might have a strong scent is a smart habit before coming to class. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you on the mat

Thinking about becoming a yoga teacher?
Here’s something most people don’t realize:

Great teachers aren’t those who memorize the perfect script. They’re the ones who stay curious, keep learning, and adapt as knowledge evolves.

In our 200-hour Teacher Training at Ashland Yoga Center, we go beyond what to teach. We help you understand why. We give you the tools to develop your own authentic voice—because yoga isn’t one-size-fits-all, and neither are cues.

Want to teach in a way that feels real and informed? This is where it starts.

Training starts September 12. Join us!

Just over 1 month away! Our 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training begins September 12th at Ashland Yoga Center.

After 15+ years of leading this training, something finally clicked:
👉 It’s not about “perfect poses.”
👉 It’s not even just about the theory.

🧠✨ True transformation begins with nervous system regulation—so you can feel the teachings in your own body and transmit them authentically to others.

When the body feels safe, yoga works.
When we’re stuck in fight-or-flight, even the most aligned pose won’t land.

This training is:
🌱 Trauma-informed
🧘🏽‍♀️ Embodied
🤝 Inclusive
💛 Community-rooted

Want to share yoga with underserved communities? Need a payment plan or scholarship? Reach out. I want you there.

Meet Susan.
She’s 78 years young and showing us all that it’s never too late to move with intention, strength, and joy.

We work together to support her bone density, balance, posture, and inner resilience. These moments on the mat are more than exercise—they’re an invitation to age with vitality.

At Ashland Yoga Center, we believe yoga is for every body, at every age.
That’s why our 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training teaches you how to work with real people, not just flexible, young and able bodies.

If you’re called to teach—or simply deepen your own practice—our training gives you the tools to offer meaningful, accessible, and therapeutic yoga.
Whether you’re 28 or 78, this path is for you.
