🎄❤️ Senior Living Christmas Party Joy ❤️🎄

What a wonderful time we had celebrating the season at our Senior Living Christmas Party! It was such a joy to see our patients and their families come together for laughter, smiles, and holiday cheer. Moments like these truly reflect the heart of our community.

We would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated to the Chili Dinner in November. Your generosity made it possible to provide Christmas gifts for our patients and helped make this celebration extra special.

A Message to Our Community About Senior Living Room Rates:

Ashland Health Center is proud to offer Senior Living care right here at home, so residents can stay close to family and the community they love. We know how important that is — and we want to keep it that way.

Recently, the State of Kansas updated how hospitals are paid for Senior Living services. This wasn’t a change made by Ashland Health Center — instead, it’s a statewide update to match federal rules that most other states already follow. Because of this, many Kansas hospitals are having to adjust their Senior Living rates, including us.

We want to be open and honest about this change and help everyone understand why our rates are going up.

📅 Starting January 1, 2026
• Private room: $315 per day
• Semi-Private room: $300 per day

We are committed to keeping this service available in our community, and updating the rate is necessary because of the new statewide payment changes. Our goal is to make sure our seniors can continue receiving care close to home.
