A message from Bill Stone, CEO:

It is with profound sadness that I must inform you of the passing of our longtime Board Member and my personal friend, Billy Taylor. Billy was a fixture in our town for many years and a pillar of our organization since its beginnings as North Benton County Health Care. In a public service career that spanned six decades, Billy served Ashland and Benton County as Justice of the Peace, Mayor, Supervisor and Alderman and served on several boards of different community service organizations. Among those roles, however, he took special pride in North Mississippi Primary Health Care and the mission, service and accomplishments of our organization. Charles McDonald told me just last week that Billy was talking about what “we are doing” at “the clinic" - reflecting how deeply he identified as a part of NMPHC.

Upon his retirement from the Board last year, Billy was named Board Member Emeritus in honor of his years of service. We are going to miss our friend but remember and honor him as we continue our work building on the foundation that he and others helped lay. Billy J. Taylor will, forever, be a part of North Mississippi Primary Health Care.
