Teaser pic. I have not been posting as much pre faire content because well I don't have much to post yet. Have been making some stock but a majority of my time has been spent down at the new site helping gmt wife do the build out on her new booth while I wait to start the build out of my new boot. Hopefully I get the green light tomorrow. The frame and roof are built, just waiting on the rough inspection so I can start building the counters and walls. The new site is coming along very nicely. Lots of people working long hours to get us ready for opening day Aug 30th .

Ramping up production for this season of King Richard's faire . Some of our high carbon seaxes in 8670m steel. A few of our War hammers in process plus plenty of axes already to go. The count down is one .

Hello all. It's been a minute. Life has been crazy to say the least, but we are fast approaching this season of King Richard's faire. Some of you may not have heard about the change of venue. The faire is at a new location just down the road at the Edaville Railroad site. This will be the new home of KRF and they will still be putting on the Edaville Holiday festival ( November and December). There are multiple constraints crews working their butts off getting as much of the work done as possible before our Aug 30th opening.
We here at midgard armory will have our hands full with getting stock made and getting the new booth ( fingers crossed) ready for show time. We may possibly be looking to add one more sales person to the crew.
We will be looking for someone that is 18+ ( 21+ even better). Experience preferred, weapons knowledge a plus but will train. Reliable transportation and their own garb/costuming. Ideally we would like to hire a female worker but not mandatory. 20+ years of working in and owning a weapons booth we have found it helps having one female employee. Generally it helps make our female patrons more comfortable. We are a very inclusive booth which means no racists,no bigots, etc. we have a no As***le and no DRAMA policy. Cash pay, lunch, snacks,and drinks provided. Laid back atmosphere but remember it is a job not just a paid day at the faire to have fun.
