Operated by Alameda County Health Care Services Agency, REACH is a free-to-all youth center that delivers a rich array of programs to youth aged 11-24 in the Ashland community. Our mission is to honor youth power and build our community’s resilience. We are committed to creating a culture of safety, belonging, and possibility that cultivates equity and happiness in our families, community, and beyond.

Want to be a Camp S.T.A.R Summer Intern?

QUALIFICATION & ELIGIBILITY:

- Active REACH Member
- Has attended summer, fall, winter, or spring programming at REACH within the last two years (2024-2026) and is aware of program flow and structure
- Age 16-21 and willing to commit to entire summer program duration (8 weeks). Additionally, 2 weeks of training starting June 2nd. Must be able to commit to both summer sessions and training (10 weeks total)

APPLICATION DUE DATE: Thursday, April 30th, 2026

INTERVIEWS: May 12th-14th, 2026

MANDATORY DATES OF TRAINING: Tuesdays and Thursdays starting June 2nd, 2026 and ending Thursday, June 11th, 2026

CAMP S.T.A.R INTERNSHIP START

Ready to Level up and Learn some Life Skills?

This Program is for REACH Members 14- 19 years old to learn some life skils.

This Workshop will run Monday/Wednesday 4:30-6:30pm from February 23rd,2026 to April 1st,2026.

Interviews will be held this week 2/3 & 2/5 and next week 2/9 & 2/11.

After thoughtful consideration, REACH has made the decision to cancel this year’s Dia De Los Mu***os community event. This choice is being made in solidarity with our community, and as much as we looked forward to celebrating this tradition for the 13th year together, we are prioritizing the safety and well-being of our youth, families, and community partners. We remain committed to being a gathering space for Youth Safety, Belonging and Possibility, and will continue to offer our Health and Wellness rooted programs and services.

For active REACH Members involved in our current programs, we will be offering Dia De Los Mu***os focused activities within the building on Thursday. We look forward to celebrating with you all next year.

Después de una cuidadosa consideración, REACH ha tomado la decisión de cancelar el evento comunitario del Día de los Mu***os de este año. Esta decisión se realiza en solidaridad con nuestra comunidad y, aunque esperábamos con entusiasmo celebrar esta tradición por el decimotercer año juntos, estamos priorizando la seguridad y el bienestar de nuestros jóvenes, familias y socios comunitarios. Seguimos comprometidos a ser un espacio de encuentro para la seguridad, pertenencia y posibilidades de los Jóvenes. Continuaremos ofreciendo nuestros programas y servicios centrados en la salud y el bienestar.

Para los Miembros activos de REACH que participan actualmente en nuestros programas, ofreceremos actividades enfocadas en el Día de los Mu***os dentro del edificio este jueves. Esperamos celebrar con todos ustedes el próximo año
