We are still leaving a major piece out of the Alzheimer’s conversation.

Hormones.

Menopause is not a subtle shift. It is a significant loss, and it has real effects on the brain.

Dr. Deborah Gordon will be speaking on this at an upcoming conference focused on what actually drives risk and prevention.

If you care about long-term brain health, this is a conversation to step into.

🧠 Apollo Brain Pearl #3: Sleep Apnea
Poor sleep isn't just an inconvenience—it's a brain health risk. From memory and focus to mood and detox, your brain depends on deep, high-quality rest.

But here’s the thing: you can sleep through the night and still miss out on true restoration. Low oxygen? Fragmented deep sleep? Mouth breathing? All of these disrupt the brain’s ability to clean itself, store memories, and regulate stress.

Dr. Deborah Gordon breaks it down in this week’s Brain Pearl, including simple strategies to:

āœ… Improve oxygenation
āœ… Track your deep and REM sleep
āœ… Set up your space and schedule for optimal rest

This is the face of surviving Alzheimer’s. Judy was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s more than 13 years ago but was the first person to adopt the ReCODE protocol, and she has been cognitively healthy ever since. She is now over 80 years old, and she is currently walking across the country to share the message of hope that cognitive decline can be prevented and reversed.
