At Breaking Chains Recovery Services LLC, we have the privilege of witnessing this every day.

Holding space for someone isn’t about fixing them. It’s about sitting beside them in the darkness without judgment… without rushing… without trying to force the light.

It’s about saying:
You’re not too broken.
You’re not too far gone.
You’re not alone here.

And then one day — sometimes slowly, sometimes all at once — you see it.
Hope.
Clarity.
Strength.
The light returning to their eyes.

That moment is why we do what we do.

Healing happens when people feel safe enough to be seen, heard, and supported while they find their way back to themselves.

If you or someone you love feels stuck in the dark, we’re here to hold the space until the light comes back on. 🔥

🐾 The Therapeutic Power of Pets 🔗🔥

At Breaking Chains Recovery Services LLC, we believe healing doesn’t always happen just in a therapy room — sometimes it has four legs and a wagging tail.

Dogs (and other pets) offer powerful therapeutic benefits:

🤍 Reduce anxiety & stress – Petting a dog can lower cortisol levels and increase feelings of calm.
🧠 Decrease symptoms of depression – Companionship helps reduce isolation and loneliness.
💛 Encourage routine & responsibility – Feeding, walking, and caring for a pet builds structure and purpose.
🗣️ Improve social connection – Pets often make it easier to connect with others and open up emotionally.
🌅 Promote mindfulness – Animals live in the present moment — and they remind us to do the same.

In recovery, connection is everything. Pets provide unconditional support, comfort without judgment, and a steady reminder that we are needed and loved.

Healing can come in many forms. Sometimes… it comes with a leash. 🐶

💗 Happy Valentine’s Day from Breaking Chains 💗
Today we celebrate love in all its forms — the love we give, the love we receive, and the love we learn to rebuild within ourselves.
At Breaking Chains, we believe healing begins when people feel seen, valued, and supported without judgment. Whether you’re working through recovery, rediscovering your identity, or learning to show yourself compassion, you deserve a community that stands with you.
Love is not perfection.
Love is safety.
Love is growth.
Love is freedom.
Thank you to every client, family member, and community partner who walks this journey with us. Your courage inspires everything we do.
Wishing you a day filled with gentleness, connection, and hope.
💞 You are worthy. You are enough. You are not alone.

🕯️ National Missing Persons Day 🕯️

Today we pause to honor the individuals who are missing and hold space for the families and loved ones who live every day with unanswered questions and deep heartache.

At Breaking Chains Recovery Services, we recognize that loss, trauma, and uncertainty can deeply impact mental health and recovery. You are not weak for struggling — and you are not alone.

If you or someone you love is navigating grief, trauma, or the emotional weight of a missing loved one, support is available. Healing doesn’t mean forgetting — it means finding ways to carry hope, strength, and connection forward.

💙 We see you.
💙 We honor you.
💙 We stand with you.

Totally jumped on the ChatGPT bandwagon!

Prompt ChatGPT to “create a caricature of me and my job based on everything you know about me.”

I may have to show the hairstyle to my stylist! ❤️

Every one else is getting fun colorful pictures. I tried it twice 🤷🏻‍♀️
