Please join us for a planning meeting for this coming school year! We are in need of a Cubmaster and for den leaders at every level. Without adult volunteers, we will not be able to continue to have a Cub Scout Pack in AFC. All interested adult helpers, please join us at the Mills & Petrie Building in Ashton (lower level) at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 29. If you are unable to make it that day, but are willing to volunteer, message this account and we will be happy to talk about how you can help!

A couple of heads-up before today’s Pack 301 Pool Party:
*Everyone who swims must wear appropriate swim attire. This includes shorts with netting for trunks and long hair pulled back.
*You may bring in food and drink if you wish. There will be no food served or available to purchase, but there is a vending machine for drinks. No alcohol. Staff may inspect coolers upon entry. Food and drink is only to be consumed in splash pad area, excluding water, which may be consumed anywhere.
*Non-swimmers MUST be in arm’s reach of adult (16+) at all times. Life jackets are available, but an adult must still stay next to children even when wearing a life jacket.

There will be one other private party using the pool at the same time as us. Please be respectful.

For those who would like to attend Henry’s visitation as a Pack, please meet outside of the funeral home on Saturday morning at 9 a.m. and we will walk in together as a group at 9:10. Please wear uniform or Pack 301 shirts if you are able.

Pack 301 Family and Friends please keep the Jordal Family in your prayers. We were blessed to have Henry as part of our pack this last year, Oh what a loving, caring, and funny little guy he was. Henry will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to have met him. Good morning Pack 301 Scouts and Families ~ Ashton Memorial Day Service Info~ any Scouts interested in participating and attending PLEASE SEND ME A TEXT 815-593-0783 so we can have a count for chairs. Scouts will present the colors, lead the pledge of allegiance and then we will sit respectfully through the service and March to the cemetery. Plan to arrive at 9:30am. Full Uniforms are highly encouraged. 🇺🇸

Congratulations to all Cub Scouts! We observed rank advancement for Lions, Tigers, Wolves, Bears, and Webelos tonight. The Arrow of Light Scouts crossed over to Scouts BSA in April. We also had some outdoor fun with a park scavenger hunt and a bubble science experiment this evening! Thank you to all the scouts, their families, the den leaders, and the community members that make scouting possible. We had a great year. Watch this space for announcements about summer events!
