✨ Meet You Belong's Vocational Training & Cafe Director ✨

Diana Bushman is the newest member of the You Belong team, serving as the Vocational and Cafe Director. With more than 20 years of experience working with children and families in a variety of capacities, Diana brings both extensive nonprofit experience and a deep passion for serving individuals who often face additional challenges in life.

Throughout her career, Diana has been especially drawn to supporting individuals with disabilities and special needs, helping create opportunities for growth, inclusion, and meaningful community connections. Her heart for service, combined with her leadership experience, makes her a valuable addition to the You Belong mission.

In her role, Diana is excited to help develop vocational opportunities, life skills programming, and community experiences that empower individuals to discover their strengths, build confidence, and find a place where they truly belong.

Outside of work, Diana is an avid reader, loves Disney movies, and enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren. She has been married to her husband, Mark, for 17 years. Mark shares her passion for serving others and has also spent many years working in the nonprofit sector. Together, they believe in the power of community, compassion, and creating spaces where everyone feels valued and welcomed.

Our Better Together group spent the night planting in our accessible garden, and it was full of teamwork, laughter, and growing connections 🌱💚

From digging in the dirt to planting flowers and veggies, everyone had a chance to participate and make our garden beautiful and welcoming for all abilities. We love creating spaces where everyone belongs and can grow together!

We can’t wait to watch everything bloom this summer! 🌼🌿

These week-long respite sessions provide engaging activities, social connection, and meaningful support for individuals living with a disability in a safe and welcoming environment. 💙

• August 17–20 (ages 18+)

⏰ Time: 12–4 PM

✨ Meet You Belong's Family Support Specialist ✨

We’re thrilled to spotlight Holly Van Eyck—an incredible leader, mentor, and advocate for children and families. 💙

Holly spent 10 years as an Early Childhood Special Education teacher and brings that heart-forward expertise to everything she does. She created and leads our Little Learners Program, where she helps nurture growth, curiosity, confidence, and connection in young children.

Holly also founded and leads Together Forward, a program designed to support families after receiving a diagnosis for their child. Through this program, she helps families build the “village” they need while reminding them they are never alone in their journey.

Outside of You Belong, Holly’s life is centered around family and community. She and her husband, Andy, have been married for 18 years and are raising five amazing children — three boys (16, 13, and 10) and two girls (7 and 4), both adopted and both with special needs.

When she’s not supporting families or creating meaningful programs, you can often find Holly working in her garden or cheering on her kids at the baseball diamond. ⚾🌱

Holly’s passion, compassion, and dedication make an impact on so many lives every single day, and we are so grateful to have her as part of the team.

Join us at You Belong for our Little Learners summer program! This is a wonderful opportunity for children to socialize, build friendships, and learn new skills through play and hands-on activities in an inclusive environment.
