The reason I teach laughing yoga is cuz it’s my language

It’s the way I’ve self-soothed
It’s how I’ve connected with others
It’s the way I love
It’s the way I deal with intense things

In high school and I used to have a morning routine of staring at ourselves in the mirror and laughing. Inspired by the book Tuesday’s with Morrie that emphasized living on purpose.

When I first tried laughing yoga in an ashram and honored it’s roots to South Asia, I realized why it was instinctually part of who I am.

When I think about how laughing yoga has shaped my life and pulled me out of dark ruts, I am moved to share it with others.

Laughter has many benefits, but my favorite effect is feeling good.

Let’s embody the sun today and let our nature shine through with joy. Joy not based on circumstances, but based on WHO YOU ARE.

You are naturally loving and joyful: the world has shut that down.

It’s that time of year where if you don’t love yourself, literally no one else will.

I’m serious, y’all.

We are in the thicc of winter and a planetary rugby match.

If you don’t sit down with yourself, slow down, and give YOURSELF the undivided attention you are seeking from others
