Not every patient walks in believing in acupuncture.

I’ve traveled to New York, Boulder, and Phoenix over the past year to study this work—and it’s changed the way I understand the body.

I’m now certified in Neuro-Meridian Integrative Acupuncture, and what makes this training so different is the work of Dr. Poney Chang. He has taken the ancient meridian systems of Chinese medicine and mapped them directly onto the nervous system—bridging Eastern medicine with Western anatomy in a way that is both precise and profound.

Part of this training included extensive cadaver lab work, allowing us to truly see and understand the relationship between acupuncture points and nerve pathways. This level of depth has completely elevated my approach—especially when it comes to precision, accuracy, and outcomes.

One of the most impactful concepts in his teaching is how the nervous system communicates best through electrical stimulation—which is a big part of how I treat.

This work goes far beyond pain.

It’s about understanding:
• Nerve entrapments
• Central nervous system conditions (stroke, TBI, Parkinson’s)
• The intricate communication between brain and body

And continuing to refine how we can support the body in healing at the highest level.
