That isn't marker circles on the tree. It's a few years' worth of rotten rings. Years where this tree wasn't fully thriving. Notice the growth OUTSIDE of those rotten rings. This tree overcame the difficult time, fixed the problem and continued growing.
The lesson here is that we all go through things - individually and as a couple. That doesn't have to mean an ending. It could just mean transitioning into a better way of being on the same path. THRIVING.❤
