KU School of Medicine–Wichita is launching a new 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺, with its first class starting this summer. This 𝗔𝗖𝗚𝗠𝗘‑𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 will help address the statewide shortage of ER physicians and 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 a 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗶𝗽𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 of 𝗱𝗼𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 who 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻 and 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆 in 𝗞𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗮𝘀.
