"Why am I still having so many symptoms after starting treatment?"

We're getting to know our newest team member, Lainey McMinn!

As a newer massage therapist, her schooling is fresh in her mind, so we asked her some questions about her educational experience. Considering the overall program she went through at East-West College of the Healing Arts in Portland, she had this to say...

"When I began my journey to becoming an LMT, I was surprised by the vast
amount of knowledge that massage therapists needed - I hadn't fully grasped just
how much depth and complexity goes into this profession. Luckily, I love to learn
and be challenged to grow!"

Curiosity and a willingness to engage in lifelong learning are two of the most important features we look for when interviewing new practitioners for the clinic - Lainey clearly fits right in!

"I first became interested in massage therapy during my time as a yoga instructor.

intricate functions, and I found that the hands-on aspect of my work was what
truly resonated with me. This sparked a deeper desire to help others through the
power of touch and movement, ultimately leading me to pursue massage therapy!"
