Your “core” is more than just your abdominals. In this dynamic session, you’ll explore all four essential components of core strength: the diaphragm, pelvic floor, deep back muscles (multifidus), and abdominals.

Through a combination of targeted Pilates exercises and yogic breathwork, you’ll learn how to engage, activate, and integrate each aspect of your core. This workshop is open to all levels.

These powerful, Holotropic inspired Breathwork sessions are accessible, deeply impactful, and designed to bring our Astoria community together in a space that cultivates love, cathartic release, personal growth, and empowerment.

This is a very doable, circular breathwork practice, done lying down to music. Cassie guides the session in a gentle way, meeting you exactly where you are.

It’s perfect for anyone looking to release stagnant energy and feel refreshed and renewed—using the breath as a tool for personal growth and summer radiance! We hope to see you for one or both of these sessions.

This retreat will offer participants a variety of guided meditations, pranayama (breathing practices), gentle yoga, and sound healing. This retreat welcomes participants with any level of experience. For participants newer to mindfulness practices we will offer instruction and encouragement to assist you on your journey. Being in community is a great way for all levels to deepen a mindfulness practice. Please feel free to bring any props, cushions, extra layers of clothes that you might need.

Outdoor park classes start today! We have daily classes in Astoria Park at the Pool Deck which is on the upper observation deck overlooking the pool (enter at 19th St. and 23rd Terr.).

Mon-Thurs 8am
Friday, Saturday, Sunday 12pm

Any cancellations will be indicated on our website.
Classes are donation-based and you must bring your own mat.

The Saturday forecast looks like a perfect day for outdoor yoga; so let’s kick off season 5 of practice in the park.

Astoria Park upper pool deck.
Enter the park at 19th Street and 23rd Terrace.
Walk toward the river and find us on the observation deck overlooking the pool.
And bring your own mat!

This class is just a pop-up preview before we announce the official start date of our full season.

Join Jodi for an Express Pilates Workshop!

This session kicks off with a 10-minute technique breakdown to refine your form and prepare you for a 50-minute dynamic Pilates flow. Expect a full-body mix of mat-based exercises and mindful movement, with a unique workshop theme.

For this session, we’ll focus on the lateral obliques, or side belly muscles — which not only aid in stability and mobility of the torso but help your lungs function more efficiently. Learn to both strengthen and mobilize your core!
