Meet Kara — one of the incredible founding members of OTF Woodlake! 🍊

After stepping away to welcome her daughter in November, Kara couldn’t wait to get back under the orange lights. When she heard Woodlake was opening, she jumped at the chance to return to the workouts, the coaches, and the community she missed so much.

For Kara, it’s the friendships, support, and shared goals that make OTF feel like home. She’s a big fan of Tread 50 and already has her sights set on Strength 50 next! 👟🧡

Today’s Member Monday feature is Ana!
“I grew up playing competitive team sports and even went on to play volleyball and row on a crew team in college. I always loved exercising and pushing myself, but struggled with finding the motivation to do it on my own, and also found traditional gyms boring. OTFs group classes are fun and allow me to still be competitive either with other members or myself, and the coaches give me that bit of nostalgia from my volleyball days which just makes me happy. Cardio was never a happy place for me, but OTF makes it at least a little bit fun! 😄”

Today’s Member Monday feature is Paula!
“As a flight attendant, routine hasn’t always been my strong suit. Between the travel and jet lag, I found myself blaming my non-existent fitness routine on not having enough time or energy. That’s when I discovered OTF. I loved that for an hour, a few times a week, I could turn off my brain and let the amazing coaching staff take over. I realized it wasn’t that I didn’t have time to workout, it was the lack of motivation and accountability. OTF Astoria helped motivate me by having killer workouts in a super fun and accepting environment! It was the perfect combination and before I knew it I was in the studio 4 times a week! Combined with mindful eating, I lost 35lbs in a healthy and maintainable way! Not only do I feel more energized in my day to day life, I’ve made new friendships and increased my quality of life tenfold! Thank you so much to all the smiling staff and coaches for making OTF a home away from home in any city I visit! 🧡✈️”

Wonderful people that our daughter calls aunts and uncle - something we could have never imagined!
