Happy Graduation Day!
Today we celebrated the last CNA Class of DCC. Thanks to Kim, our rockstar DSD, for somehow managing to teach another class of students without losing her mind. And to all our students, thanks for being so compassionate with our residents - you guys are going to make some amazing CNAs.
We wish you all the best, whether you stick around our Compass facilities or move on to become LVNs/RNs.
You’re all going to be just fine.
ONWARD!

Our last party at this location we all called our home away from home. Some staff and residents will have the opportunity to reunite at a different facility. Thanks a million Vineyard Hills Health Center and San Luis Post Acute Center for embracing us with open arms. We will continue to embody the “Danish” spirit, providing exceptional care and treating everyone like family.
It’s not goodbye, it’s see you at the Compass Summer Party.

Today we all got our Irish on. 🍀
The grub was endless, desserts were abundant, and our residents crawled their way through the pubs.
Whether you were sipping on Green Beer, throwing back Guinness Shots, or savoring Shimmery Rainbow Mocktails and Shamrock Shakes - it was a day to remember.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day from all of us at Danish ☘️

Yesterday we bid a fond farewell to Lance, our Physical Therapy Master and shipped him off to retirement bliss. Thanks to his family for loaning him to us for so long. Lance made a lasting impact on countless lives, and we'll miss him big time.

We threw a fantastic Baby Shower for our soon-to-be mom Beth! The cupcakes, fresh fruit, and punch were a huge hit, and the "Who changes the Baby the fastest - Blindfold Edition" competition between Aallyah, Cassie, and Beth was pure comedy gold. No babies were harmed, we promise!
Thanks for making this a truly special afternoon ❤️

Baby Pop Up Boutique?
Today was a shopping spree for our residents using their Bingo Dollars to pamper one of our outstanding CNAs and her expected baby.
The hottest items were grabbed in no time and nicely wrapped for next week's Baby Shower party.
Our terrific students chipped in by lending a helping hand writing cards filled with valuable advice and good wishes for the mom-to-be.

We also had a wonderful surprise visit by Sara and her beautiful baby daughter ❤️

Mardi Gras at Danish sounds fun? You bet we had an absolute blast! Our residents and staff indulged in sweet treats, music and a good conversation. The new students, which is an amazing bunch helped with Arts & Crafts and got to know our residents a little bit better.

Our tree was the root of all happiness here at Danish, so we just couldn't let it go.

Our residents were jet-setters today, flying Danish Air to France for a culinary extravaganza, red Bubbly toasts, and an Eiffel Tower photo op.
Next month? Ireland 🇮🇪, baby!
We're also taking a trip down memory lane to February's highlights: flowers, crafts, music with the amazing Julie Beaver and Duncan, our “freelancing” therapy dog.
And, we're proudly displaying our Danish Valentine's Tree, which might become a permanent fixture 😉.

On Valentine’s Day we went all out and treated our residents to a Glamour Shot extravaganza, complete with makeup, hair, and manicure stations. Let's just say our residents and team were totally obsessed - thanks Haley for donating your makeup skills, Taja for hooking our residents up with fierce hairdos, and Cristian, our newest team member, for being an all-around rockstar.
