Congratulations to Dr. Sage Hider who is celebrating 30 years with Primary Eyecare Center! On November 1st, 1994, Dr. Hider joined the optometry practice of Drs. Robert Cheung and Elaine Cormier in Atascadero and San Luis Obispo. Over the years, the practice grew and evolved with the retirements of Dr. Cheung and Dr. Cormier and Drs. Quyen Immoos and Lauren Tackett joining as partners. Dr. Hider has been very active in the community - a 29 year member and Past President of the Kiwanis Club of Atascadero, Calif., a past Ambassador of the Year of the Atascadero Chamber, and an Assistant Scoutmaster for Scouting BSA Troops 155 and 51.
Dr. Hider has also been a tireless advocate for the profession of optometry. He has held various offices, including President, with both the Tri-County Optometric Society and the California Optometric Association as well as a delegate to the American Optometric Association.
Dr. Hider has been married to his wife, Nicole, for 27 years. They have 2 sons, Joey and Greg. "I love coming to work in the morning to see my schedule filled with families I have seen for 20 or more years, and I enjoy meeting new patients for the first time. It warms my soul that my patients have trusted me for so long to care for their vision and eye health," says Dr. Hider.

We had an absolute blast yesterday in W***y Wonka's chocolate factory (or should we say Dr. Wonka and his optical factory? 🤓😂) with you all that came in! We hope everyone who had appointments or just came by to see our theme this year enjoyed as well! 🍭🍫🍬

We still have treats and the decorations up if you missed out and want to swing by today in our Atascadero office! 😁
